Brokers to Save Money with Phone Number Changes

There is now an alternative to the much hated 0845 and 0870 numbers that add so much to brokers' telephone bills every month. As of today all major UK telephone operators will allow the use of 03 numbers for companies that choose to use it.

The 03 numbers will be a national rate option so will cost the same as any number currently starting 01 or 02, but the 03 numbers will be included in a broker's inclusive call minutes or discount schemes with their telephone company so will save money even from mobile phones.

Leadbay has introduced this number on the day it comes out in order to immediately pass on any possible savings to introducers. Leadbay's new number will be: 0333 666 9000

Simon Baker, Leadbay's commercial development manager says, "The 0845 and 0870 have been much hated by all advisers ever since they were introduced as they are not included in any 'inclusive minute' packages and so can add a significant amount to an adviser's phone bill every month. The 03 option is a win win as it gives companies the option to have a non-geographic number but to still pass savings on to their customers.

"We recognise this is a small but important issue to our advisers, therefore we are bringing in the changes on the first day it is possible to do so."

The 03 number for Leadbay has been provided by Windsor Telecom.
